I’m Anna, a Norwegian illustrator and storyteller with a love for colourful, character-led images. I like working with analogue textures and materials, whether for drawing physically or digitally, as well as exploring all forms of printmaking. I recieved the New Designers x GF Smith category award for Most Innovative Use of Paper.
I have a BA Illustration from Arts University Bournemouth, which led to my current studies in Artistic Research.
I’m interested in the authenticity and auratic value of analogue and digital in contemporary practice, and how this interplays within our current society, which in turn informs my illustration projects!
If I’m not drawing, you’ll probably find me tucked up with a book, down a research rabbit hole or making up stories.
